Your visit, step by step
Before your first appointment
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any prior imaging (X-ray, CT, or MRI) with the radiology reports. If your imaging is on a disc, bring the disc — reviewing the actual studies is central to Dr. Varma's diagnostic process.
What to expect at your consultation
Your visit begins with a detailed history and physical examination, followed by a review of your imaging. Dr. Varma will explain your diagnosis in plain language, walk through every treatment option — conservative and surgical — and answer all of your questions before any plan is made.
